ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regional Sales Director - West is responsible for revenue generation through strategic alliances with potential customers that range from Major to Mid-Market Accounts. You will identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability of the organization by using your own contacts and methods, as well as provided reports from our proprietary data sources.

Your responsibilities include meeting (virtually or in person post COVID restrictions) with customers and provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) regarding how to solve their fleet related issues revolving around the VQ solutions. This will require advising prospective customers on the suitability of products and solutions based on their technical needs and gaps, preparing proposals, presentations, pricing and contracts, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solution. This executive level sales role must assume the role of customer liaison and project lead through the solution identification, development, and implementation of the VQ offering(s) that have been identified to meet the business customers’ evolving needs.

You must:

  • Collaborate with the CRO to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
  • Manage ad maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed corporate-set goals
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals via sales force for your region
  • Educate others on sales team / and vendors with our presentations and techniques as directed by CRO
  • Develop and propose specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term of your region

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree- preferably in communications, business, or engineering
  • 3+ years of selling Telematics Solutions
  • 5+ years of total sales experience
  • Proven consultative solution selling skills
  • Ability to articulate a value proposition in a clear manner
  • Ability to prospect new logos
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com and HubSpot
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong listening and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve and surpass targets
