The Role

This position has broad responsibility for all stages of materials management in support of the Enterprise business. Products include X3, VQ, and VQ Field Kits in transacting all in-out inventory movements and the quality and test assessment of the products as received from suppliers and as returned from customers. In close alignment with Enterprise Engineering and Sales, assure that materials are on-hand to support business revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Receiving Inspection of complex assemblies and materials using various electronic and computer-based equipment.
  • Conduct receiving and shipping functions via data entry into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for raw materials through finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory status (includes raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, repair pool items, periodic cycle counting, etc.) by managing transactions.
  • Inspect returned materials against reason for return and disposition appropriately.
  • Provide various and periodic reporting of Receiving Instructions results, First Pass Yield of programmed devices, returns statistics, and other metrics.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success to fulfill advance replacement devices in support of key customer’s fielded products.
  • Communicate regularly with Customer Success to coordinate filling various requests to ship field-support products.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in electrical, electronics, IT, or tech school certification
  • 3 – 5 years of related, hands-on position experience in a technology, software, or firmware business
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite, wireless technologies, and cell phone apps
  • Ability to learn the company’s ERP (NetSuite) and associated systems
  • Proven self-starter
  • Demonstrated strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and execute across multiple areas of responsibility

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience with electronic assemblies and test methods

This role must be based in our Broomfield, CO office.

This position is eligible to participate in the company bonus plan, medical, dental, disability, paid time off, and 401(k) plans. Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires an estimated base range for this position: $15.00 - $25.00/hour plus overtime. Actual range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on requirements of the job and your skills. This posted range is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Derive Systems reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
